About Barrel Sauna Guide

Barrel Sauna Guide is an independent, research-based site for people buying and installing a backyard barrel sauna. We focus on the questions dealer sites skip: what the whole project costs once you add wiring, a pad and permits, and how to find local pros to do that work.

We are not a sauna manufacturer or dealer, and we're not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand we cover.

How we research

• We don't hand-test saunas. We don't claim to have sat in, assembled or measured the saunas we write about. Our guides are compiled from manufacturer spec sheets and manuals, authorized dealer listings, published price checks and public owner reports.
• Prices are dated and named. Every price lists the seller and the date we checked it. Prices change often, so confirm before you buy.
• Third-party data is labeled. When a spec or price comes from another publication rather than the manufacturer or seller, we say so.
• Owner reports are paraphrased, with the source named. We don't publish testimonials, and we don't invent or solicit fake reviews.
• Conflicts are flagged. If a brand's own pages disagree (warranties are the usual case), we report both.
• No star ratings. Without hands-on testing, we don't think a numeric score would be honest.

How we make money

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy, the seller may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. When you request installation quotes, local professionals may pay us for the referral. Neither affects which products we cover or what we say about them. See our affiliate disclosure.
